Kwang-Suk Choi & Sae-Young Kang

Choi was a former principal dancer with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre and is currently part of the adjunct faculty at Point Park University. Choi is also the director of Seneca Valley’s Academy of Choice Dance Program, which has been established since 2012. With a total of 32 years of professional experience, he is one of the main instructors with his wife, a former professional ballerina with the National Ballet of Korea, Sae-Young Kang. At a young age, Kang was recognized for her talent and was recruited as 1 of 3 students to study abroad in Japan the year of 1988. Together they have successfully trained dancers to join prestigious ballet companies such as San Fransisco Ballet and Pacific Northwest Ballet as official company members and have also guided students to join renowned ballet schools around the world.

Erin Riley

Erin is native to Pittsburgh. She began studying dance at local schools from a young age and continued her training at Point Park University, earning a B.A. in Dance with a concentration in Modern and Jazz. She has worked with choreographers including Heidi Latsky, Sean Curran and Doug Varone. Erin has over 18 years teaching experience in jazz, modern, ballet, acrobatics and tap. Inspired by her broad teaching experiences, she has developed effective, skill-based curricula for her classes that require dancers to not only refine dance steps, but also grow their character and artistry. Erin believes dance is for everyone. She is certified by Acrobatic Arts and a member of National Dance Education Organization.

Kristi Gibilisco

Kristi Gibilisco is an experienced ballet instructor, choreographer and dancer. She currently teaches at Pittsburgh Ballet House, where she has taught since 2006. Formerly, she taught ballet at Seneca Valley High School and Ballet Baroque. In addition to teaching she has been responsible for staging classics such as Les Sylphides and La Bayadere for Ballet Baroque's Spring performances. In 2006, Mrs. Gibilisco choreographed, staged, and performed in Ballet Baroque's production of The Nutcracker at Carlow College.
A native of Pittsburgh, Mrs. Gibilisco was introduced to dance at age 3 and began training in ballet, jazz and modern at Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre School at age 7 where she remained for 12 years. She has also trained at Joffrey Ballet School, where she was a scholarship student.

Mrs. Gibilisco has performed in Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre's production of Swan Lake, Giselle, La Bayadere and Nutcracker and Joffrey Ballet's production of Swan Lake and La Bayadere at Radio City Music Hall. In 1998 she performed Winter War with Ballet International Company at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. Mrs. Gibilisco has also performed as a guest artist in Ballet Baroque's Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Nutcracker and the Pas de Deux of Don Q.

Brianna Casale

Brianna Casale began her dance training at an early age in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She studied ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, acro/tumbling, and hip-hop styles. Brianna was awarded top overall awards, scholarships, and titles at both the regional and national level while training at her local dance studio. Upon graduation of Deer Lakes High School, Brianna earned a B.A in Dance from Slippery Rock University with a minor in Adapted Physical Activity. While studying at Slippery Rock Brianna had the opportunity to perform and choreograph various dance works throughout her four years of schooling. While at Slippery Rock University she developed her choreographic, performance and pedagogical skills in the discipline of dance. Brianna has worked with many artists in the Pittsburgh area and has performed in venues such as the Kelly-Strayhorn Theatre and 92nd Street Y in New York City. 

Brianna began teaching at the age of 18 just when she graduated from high school and has since been awarded top choreography and overall awards for her works with her local studio. Brianna is excited to share her knowledge and love of dance with the students.

Emily McGoey

Emily McGoey began her training at Pittsburgh Ballet House under the direction of Kwang-suk Choi and Sae-young Kang. She has attended summer intensives at the Chatauqua Institute, Bolshoi Ballet, Houston Ballet, and Texas Ballet Theater. In 2017, she joined Texas Ballet Theater’s Professional Division, now Studio Training Company. While there, Ms McGoey had many opportunities to perform with the company and work with artistic director, Ben Stevenson OBE. Her repertoire includes Ben Stevenson’s The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, and Glazunov, as well as Marius Petipa’s Paquita, and Tim O’Keefe’s Peter and the Wolf. She also performed contemporary works by Andre Silva, Carl Coomer, Jiyan Dai, and Hailey Von Schlehenried. Ms McGoey then went on to join Columbia Classical Ballet in 2019, as a member of their Corps de Ballet. While there she performed in Radenko Pavlovich’s Coppelia and The Nutcracker. Emily is also a certified Progressing Ballet Technique instructor.
